I will have to say this is going to tough. I have lots of favorites. My 5th favorite fair food is the Italian Sausage Sub. Usually as soon as I get out of my car, I can smell the Sausage. I especially love it with peppers, onions, and plenty of mustard. There is something about that combination that makes it mouth watering to me every time. I normally get one every time I go. My 4th favorite fair food is elephant ears. Find the right place at the fair, and usually these fried delights are the circumference of a basketball. That size of a elephant ear will feed a whole family. Some places will drizzle caramel or chocolate sauce on it, but my favorite topping is the powdered sugar. If they make them fresh for you right away, they just melt in your mouth. My 3rd favorite fair food is the Pizza. Have fun finding really good pizza though. Every fair I attend has the pizza there, but it is not always that good. When you can find fresh, and it hasn’t been sitting around a while, it is excellent. I always look for the freshest pizzas when I am at a fair, with just the right amount of sauce cheese, you can’t go wrong. I know what I’m having for dinner tonight. My 2nd favorite fair food is the corn dogs. WOW! Can I say WOW again. WOW! Deep fried corn dogs with ketchup, and mustard. That is just heaven to me. When I’m there, there’s know telling how many of those I will eat. Why is it, when I make them at home though, they just don’t turn out the same. I can’t figure that out. Anyways, my top favorite fair food is, (Drum Roll Please) The Philly Cheesteak. Back here at home every year, we have what is called the Grape Jamboree. There is this certain place I hit with the best philly cheesteaks that I have ever tasted. These phillys are made with the finest Rib-eye, and they serve it with red, and green bell peppers, onions, portabello mushrooms, a ajus’ sauce, and to top it all off with fresh mozzarella cheese. This sub is so huge, it could probably feed a herd of elephants. I usually can never finish this masterpiece, but that means I can just eat more of that delicious treat later. All this talk about food is making me hungry. To bad it’s not fair season.
