Thousand Island dressing is a favorite in many, many families.
I know for me it has to be the best dressing there is.
It’s great on something as good for you as a salad, to something as bad for you as those big ,yummy, mouth watering, beer battered, onion rings.
When my family and I would go to restaurants it was always a must at the table, but slowly I began to notice more and more
restaurants not offering this wonderful household favorite.
So with that in mind and finding that this particular dressing was so popular with my own family, I just had to find out how to make it.
So if your as big a fan as I am, then you’ll love and use this recipe for thousand island dressing as much as I have.
What you will need:
1 small bowl
1 clove garlic, cut in half

2 tbsp. light cream
2 tbsp. chili sauce
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. coarsely cut up green olives
1 coarsely cut up hard-boiled egg

Rub garlic well on inside of small bowl. Discard remaining garlic. Combine and blend the 1/2 c. of mayonnaise, 2 tbsp.cream and 2 tbsp chili sauce. Add remaining ingredients and stir. Makes 1 1/4 cups. Serves 4. You could easily double this to serve 8.
