Doritos Hot-Dish Casserole

One of my families favorite recopies is Doritos hot-dish casserole. You can make it as spicy or as mild as you like. The base recipe I use when baking when I’m cooking for the kids, my husband, and myself. I make it hotter if it’s just for adults like a social or potluck.


9X13 Baking pan sprayed with Pam

1 bag of family size Doritos regular flavor ( for the bottom of the pan the rest for serving)

1 Lb Hamburger meat

1 can condensed milk

1 can Mexican Corn

1 can Cream of mushroom soup

3 Table spoons Tabasco sauce or to taste

3 Tablespoons Jalapeno juice or to taste

Cups Jalapenos or more to taste

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup cheese

First you need to heat oven to 375o. In a large deep skillet brown Hamburger meat then drain it. Place Hamburger meat back into pan then add condensed milk, Mexican corn, cream of mushroom soup, Tabasco sauce, Jalapenos and juice, salt and pepper. Warm till slight boil then turn heat off. Leave the pan on the stove while you do the next step. Take the bag of Doritos and place in Ziploc bag. You may also use a food processor if you like. Crush the Doritos, with your hands or a rolling pin, till they are small pieces. Place in the bottom of the baking pan. Place the mixture with the hamburger meat into the baking dish. Place cheese on top of mixture in the baking pan and bake 20 minutes or until cheese in brown. Serve with remaining Doritos.

you can make variations to this recipe. i Have a friend who is lactose intolerant and uses soy milk and soy cheese in the recipe. you can also use another ground meat. It will taste great and suitable to your palate.
