Ingredients:

1/2 cup of real butter, unsalted

2 1/2 cups of powdered sugar

1 teaspoon of almond extract

3 eggs

1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1/2 cup of cornmeal

Directions:

1. Whip butter until creamy. Add the powder sugar, almond extract, and egg and mix well.

2. In a different mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and baking soda and mix until well combined. Add this to the butter mixture and mix well.

3. Pour into a greased loaf pan.

4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes. Turn the oven off and let the loaf stay in the oven for 1 hour. Remove from the loaf pan and allow to cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy.
